In order to answer these questions and much more give your career a sporting chance. Join one of our excellent highly recognised courses, taught by qualified Physical Educationalists and Sports Scientists.
The School of Sport & Leisure at Limavady College offers:

BTEC National Diploma Sports Studies (Science)
Entry requirements - 4 GCSEs (one of which should be a science subject A-C or equivalent). Duration 2 years full time.

BTEC National Diploma Leisure Studies
Entry requirements - 4 GCSEs. Duration 2 years full time.

BTEC Higher National Certificate in Science/Sports Studies
Applicants must be 18 years of age at date of commencement of course. Duration 2 years part time.

BTEC first Diploma in Science
Aimed at students who wish to pursue studies in a vocational area but have not got the necessary science qualifications at GCSE level. Duration 1 year full time.

We welcome applications from mature students.

Successful students may progress into higher education or alternatively pursue vocations in sports and recreational centres, countryside centres, outdoor centres and many more.
